NS Crafts® Parallel Action Zig Zag Pliers

Parallel action pliers with flat zig-zag jaws for pressing a clean corrugated pattern into wire and strips of metal. Place the wire or strip between the jaws and squeeze: the parallel action forms the corrugations evenly along the whole jaw. For longer pieces, move the metal along and repeat to continue the pattern.

It is a quick way to add texture and dimension to bracelets, pendants, charms and trinkets, and the toothed jaws also hold wire, metal sheet and small parts securely.

Key Features

  • Zig-zag flat jaws: create clean corrugated patterns for trinket designs
  • Parallel action: even pressure for a consistent pattern
  • Versatile: works on wire, flat strip and soft sheet
  • Strong steel body for durability and smooth repetitive work
  • Return spring for less hand fatigue

How to Use

  1. Place the wire or strip between the zig-zag jaws.
  2. Squeeze firmly to press the pattern.
  3. Move the piece along and repeat for a continuous corrugated design.

Capacity (approximate)

  • Soft wire: 18 gauge or thinner
  • Soft strip and sheet: 22 gauge or thinner

Capacity depends on the hardness and thickness of the metal, so annealed (soft) metal works best.

Ideal For

  • Textured bracelets and bangles
  • Corrugated wire earrings and pendants
  • Charms and decorative pieces
  • Holding wire, metal sheet and small parts
