A set of seven colour-coded weighted tuning forks, each tuned to one of the frequencies traditionally linked to the seven chakras. The colours make it easy to pick the right fork quickly during a session.
The forks are made from non-magnetic aluminium alloy, which is light, resistant to corrosion and produces a clear, sustained tone lasting up to 25 seconds. The weighted ends let you feel the vibration when the stem is placed gently on the body. The set comes in a leather-look gift box with a carrying case, so it also makes a lovely present.
Hold the fork by the stem and tap the prongs lightly with the mallet. You can hold the vibrating fork near each ear to listen to the tone, or, for weighted forks, rest the stem gently on the body to feel the vibration.
Hold each fork by the stem, not the prongs, and strike it gently with the mallet or against your knee rather than a hard surface. Wipe clean after use and store in the case to protect the tuning.
Tuning forks are used for relaxation, meditation and sound practice. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
