The NS Crafts® 1 kg Graphite Ingot Mould with Steel Rod is made for jewellers, goldsmiths, metalworkers and hobby makers. Graphite ingot moulds for pouring molten gold, silver and other non-ferrous metals into neat bars. Graphite does not stick to molten metal, so ingots release cleanly, and the mould copes well with repeated heating.

Getting the best from your ingot mould

Warm the mould before pouring and lightly oil or smoke the cavity with a sooty flame. Pour steadily, let the metal set, then turn the mould over to release the ingot. A warm, dry mould gives smoother ingots with fewer cold-shut marks.
