Melting & Casting Starter Kit – Crucible with Whip Handle, Flask Tongs & Pickling Tongs

Everything you need to start melting and pouring precious metals at the bench, in one kit. Melt gold, silver, copper or brass in the 3" ceramic crucible, move hot flasks and crucibles safely with the long flask tongs, then lift your pieces in and out of the pickle with brass tongs that won't contaminate the solution.

Each tool is chosen to do one job well, and together they cover the full melt, pour and clean-up process for small-scale casting and refining.

• 1 x 3" ceramic melting crucible with whip tongs handle
• 1 x casting flask and crucible tongs with 15" handles, holding up to 4" diameter
• 1 x brass pickling tongs with 45° bent, grooved tips

Good to know

• You will also need a torch or furnace, which is not included.
