The NS Crafts® Quartz Crucible Cup is made for jewellers, goldsmiths, metalworkers and hobby makers. A tall, high-temperature quartz crucible cup for melting larger amounts of gold, silver and copper with a torch or furnace. The deep cup holds more metal than a shallow dish and pours cleanly.

Getting the best from your crucible cup
Heat the cup gradually at first to avoid thermal shock, keep it dry and use a little borax flux to keep the melt clean. Always lift and pour with suitable tongs or a crucible handle.
