The NS Crafts® Reversible Ingot Mould is made for jewellers, goldsmiths, metalworkers and hobby makers. A heavy cast iron reversible ingot mould for pouring molten gold, silver and other non-ferrous metals into wire and sheet ingots ready for rolling. The adjustable mould lets you set the size of the sheet ingot, and the reversible plate gives you four wire slots.

Getting the best from your ingot mould

Warm the mould before pouring and lightly oil or smoke the cavity with a sooty flame. Pour steadily, let the metal set, then turn the mould over to release the ingot. A warm, dry mould gives smoother ingots with fewer cold-shut marks.
