An extra-large disc cutter set for punching perfect metal circles from 12 mm to 23 mm. It has five hardened steel punches and a square steel cutting block, and cuts sheet metal up to 20 gauge.
The punches are machined flat and smooth at the cutting end for clean, perfectly round blanks, and bevelled at the top for striking with a heavy mallet or hammer. You can also use them with a hydraulic press. Using the block on a rubber mat or block makes cutting easier.
Take all punches out of the block and pick your size. Slide the sheet metal into the slot, insert the punch sharp end down into the matching hole, and strike the bevelled end firmly with a heavy mallet until it cuts through. Keep your fingers clear.
Keep the punches and block dry and lightly oiled to prevent rust.
